WORK THAT STAYS CONNECTED

A project’s financial picture is built from many small records: the materials ordered, time approved, bills received and invoices issued. Nebubee brings those records together so the office can see what has been posted and what still needs attention.

The example shows fictional project data.

FROM ONE STEP TO THE NEXT

01

Plan the budget

Set project cost allocations and organize them with reusable cost codes.

02

Track the commitments

Record purchase orders, deliveries, costs and vendor obligations.

03

Prepare the billing

Create invoices for the job, approved service time or progress against a schedule of values.

04

Review the picture

Follow balances, recorded payments and project reports, then export the data you need.

01

See costs alongside the commitments still ahead.

A posted cost and an open order tell different parts of the story. Keep both tied to the project and its budget.

  • Project budget allocations and reusable cost codes.
  • Posted expenses with a preserved void history.
  • Purchase orders, partial receiving and outstanding commitments.
  • Approved labor time that posts to job costs.
02

Support the way construction work gets billed.

Choose the invoice workflow that fits the work, with saved amounts and history carried through the process.

  • Standard itemized invoices and recorded external payments.
  • Service invoices from approved billable time.
  • Progress billing with schedules of values, stored materials and retainage.
  • Vendor bill review, subcontract applications and payment records.
03

Turn saved records into a useful view of the business.

Review the project or period that matters, then take the data into your accounting process with its context intact.

  • Billed, received and posted-cost trends from saved records.
  • Current project budgets, margins and health indicators.
  • Planned and approved crew-hour reporting.
  • CSV exports and configurable QuickBooks mapping, synchronization and reconciliation.

BEFORE YOU GET STARTED

A few useful
answers.

Ask us something else
Does Nebubee replace my accounting system?

Nebubee supports project financial workflows and reporting. A full general ledger, payroll, tax filing and accounting statements remain in your accounting process. QuickBooks integration is available after provider setup, authorization and mapping.

Does recording a payment move money?

No. Recording an external payment documents a receipt. Online invoice payments use the separate Stripe Connect workflow when live processing is activated for the platform and company.

Can I bill for approved crew time?

Yes. Approved time can post labor costs and become available for service billing. Service drafts reserve the selected time to help prevent it from being billed twice.

Is the displayed margin a final profit forecast?

No. Current margin reflects saved costs and commitments and excludes future work that has not been committed. Use it with the remaining job scope and your accounting records when reviewing a project.
